This free virtual event, hosted by Handshake, will include a deep dive into New York labor market insights based on the activities of 61,000 employers in New York recruiting on the Handshake platform.

We’ll then transition to a panel discussion with speakers including:

  • Angie Kamath, Dean of the School of Professional Studies at NYU
  • Lauren Andersen, University Dean of Industry & Talent Partnerships at CUNY
  • Christine Cruzvergara, Chief Education Strategy Officer at Handshake
  •  Ali Marano, Head of Emerging Talent & Global Head of Tech for Social Good at JPMorgan Chase
  • Marianne Hassan, Chief of Staff, Office of the Provost & Acting Director, SUNY Impact Foundation

The panel will explore the shifts in employer engagement and recruitment amid a global pandemic (among other broad economic trends), and how these surface in the evolving role of workforce and career readiness in the higher education ecosystem.
