Over the course of w/c 28th June, 24 teams of emerging leaders at Careers Services from over 70 UK & Ireland's universities will be collaborating to solve some of the sector's biggest challenges, using the design thinking process to guide them from "empathise" and "define" through to "prototype" build.
On Thursday 15th July, we'll be holding a 2-hour celebratory event, comprised of a fun interactive game based on the hit 90's TV show, Crystal Maze, followed by presentations of the 5 shortlisted prototypes, and cumulating in an awards presentation by the stellar Careers 2030 judging panel announcing the winning team. Each member of the winning team will receive a donation to their institution of £1,500 per person to implement their idea.
As a senior leader of a UK&I university, we'd be delighted for you to join us to see how our emerging leaders are thinking about the hybrid future and how together we can create a more equitable experience for all students - something every university can benefit from. We appreciate 2 hours may be not be feasible for you to spare - so if you're only able to join for the awards ceremony, please do still register, but simply join the call at 6.30pm instead.
